Google Domains

We recommend that our clients own their own domain names. Learn more about what a domain name is and why you need to own your own domain name here.

Purchasing a Domain

Step 1

Visit Google Domains and login to your account. You can use any Google account to do so, but we recommend you use a business admin account/owner account. You should not use an employee account.

Step 2

Search for the domain name you are looking for in the search bar. Make sure to include the correct domain ending: example.ca or example.com.

Step 3

Click add to cart on the domain you want to purchase

Step 4

Go to your cart and checkout. You should make sure that auto-renew is enabled so that you never risk losing your domain.

We do not recommend setting up your email directly with Google Domains. This ties the email to that domain account. It is better to set up your Google Workspace email separately.

Important: If you purchase a .ca email you will be required to enter additional information. Your information & preferred contact language
